Description

This Tudor Revival house was built in 1913. Originally worth $10,000, it was designed for W. G. Moore by J.P. Matheson & Son, an architectural firm established in Vancouver in 1912. The Smith family later resided in this house from the late 1920s onwards. Improvements on the house were conducted in 1978.

Cedar Crescent was named for the adjoining Cedar Street, which was renamed Burrard Street in 1938 when the opening of the Burrard Bridge connected then-named Cedar Street with Burrard Street downtown.
