Description
1842 Stephens Street (also known as 2689 West 3rd Avenue) was built in 1909 at the same time as 1824, 1830, and 1836 Stephens Street. The houses were built by Lester D. Chesman of Chesman & Chesman. 1842 Stephen St is first listed in Henderson’s Greater Vancouver Directory in 1911, with a Mrs. Mary Beatty listed as the resident. Mrs. Beatty resided in the house until 1919.
