Description

Built in 1912 by Bacon and Mugford, this two-storey frame residence is listed on the Vancouver Heritage Register as a B-listing. Significant for its robust Craftsman details, the second owner of this house was Vancouver Police Chief W.J. Bingham. There is a story that Sir Winston Churchill once stood in the living room and smoked a cigar while Police Chief W.J. Bingham was his escort during Churchill’s 1929 visit to Vancouver.
