The Vancouver Craftsman at 2736 W 7th Ave (previously 2738 W 7th) was built in 1912 by owner/architect builder Bentley and Wear who also built 6-8 houses on the block, including in this permit from 1911 at 2732, 2738, 2752, 2758 W 7th Ave). It was issued for 4 frame dwelling houses valued at $12000. The first occupant is listed in 1914 as James Molyneux.
