Records indicate 4616 Slocan St was built in 1910 and was likely owned by David Beare. There is a permit dated January 3, 1963 to move the home from the adjacent corner lot 4606 Slocan St. to it’s current location at 4616 Slocan St. At that time, it was placed on a new foundation. This explains the home’s wrap around porch which would be more suitable for a corner lot
