Description

This modest commercial building was built in the 1890s and subsequently renovated by Parr & Fee in 1910.

Well known tenants have included:

• Maison Henri, “the oldest, largest, and most exclusive beauty salon” which opened in 1919 and was operated by Henri Gautschi.
• Alfonso “Foncie” Pulice (1935 – 1979), Vancouver’s most prolific and best remembered street photographer in the 1950s/60
• Marks and Spencers, UK department store chain in the 1980s

Currently, the bottom floor is commercial space while the upper two floors are offices.
