Description
The WM Doctor residence, built 1912 was moved in 2015 to avoid demolition. Originally located at 5903 Larch Street in Kerrisdale, the house was temporarily moved into storage before it was moved to West 4th and Trimble Street. The California Bungalow style house is unique for its Canadian interpretation of the California Arts and Crafts style. It features cedar log pillars, dark plywood abstract bird and salmon light fixtures, a built-in grandfather clock and a bird stained glass window.
