Description
The building was named after original owner and architect, W.J Stinson and built by Wood & McDonald in 1910. The original structure on this site (including retail units and apartments) was severely damaged by fire in 2014. A façade restoration was undertaken in 2020 with a modern structure of 18 new rental suites built behind.
Classified as Heritage C, the site is also protected by a Heritage Covenant - which is a contractual agreement between the property owner and local government and registered on the title of the property (Heritage BC).
