Description
This is part of a cluster of cluster of two well preserved Craftsman Bungalow style houses on a block with considerable heritage interest. See also 910 W 22. The house is shingled. It has leaded glass, dentil trim on the porch gable, and heavy Craftsman brackets.
The house was built about 1914. It is likely that the builders of this house were Pugsleys, who built 910 W 22 and 911 W 22. This could refer to George Pugsley, contractor, who lived at 941 W. 22.
The original occupant appears to have been James Watson Robinson of Robinson and Hoag, general store located on Main Street. Thomas Hoag appears to have lived next door at 910 W 22. Robinson was still living in the house in 1921, when he did some building repairs.
