Description

This Craftsman Bungalow has an unusual stone façade and brick on the sides of the first storey. The upper storey is more typically Craftsman with decorative brackets and dentil coursing. The siding probably not original.

There is a 1912 permit for a $1,500 building on this property. The owner/architect/builder was E.J. Molloy. There is also a building permit for January 1913 for a $7,000 brick and stone residence with hot water. The builder was Edward J. Molloy, contractor. The architects were Donnellan and Robertson, with offices on Pender St.

According to city directories, Molloy appears to have lived in the house.
